5 Unique Ways To Feel Good NOW

As most of us go through life, we often experience a wide variety of positive and negative emotions. Sometimes, we may even experience one type of emotion more than another. In my own experience, I find that negative emotions are inevitable and to overcome them can feel impossible at times. Most people may use drugs or food to drown out the negative feelings, which can be more destructive than helpful. However, I discovered that there are natural, effective ways to feel better when things just aren’t going your way. Here are five unique ways that can easily help you feel better now:

1) Consciously Choose to Feel Good

This is probably the most effective way to feel good, which is why I have listed it first. When I say “consciously” I mean that, with total awareness, DECIDE to feel good, focusing all of your energy solely on this decision. To Decide means to cut off from any other possibility.  In addition, you could say to yourself “I decide to feel good” and envision what that feels like. Act it out! How would you act if you were feeling good? How would you look? How would you see the world?

The key here is to get in touch with what feeling good looks like and feels like to you.

This method alone can prove to be very empowering as well as liberating.

2) Dress Well

The way you look at yourself has a great impact on the way others look at you, both mentally and physically. However, the way you dress can also have the same impact and if used accordingly, can boost your confidence and overall mood. If you are still in your pajamas and reading this, I don’t blame you…chances are that you don’t feel the need to be well-dressed in order to read something online. But what you must realize is that different occasions call for different standards. For example, if you were to go out in public to meet a potential soulmate while wearing a wrinkled shirt and pajamas, you are indirectly signalling to others that you do not care much about your appearance, and unless you live in area where wrinkled shirts are currently trending, I’d advise you to rethink your strategy. If you are not in a position to change clothes right away (maybe you are at work), you can take this time to look online for some fashion tips/ideas.

Ideally, you want to wear clean, wrinkle-free clothes that fit comfortably to your body and make you feel confident.

The best way to go about this is to experiment: mix & match different colors, styles, accessories, and see how they make you feel. Don’t be afraid to ask someone for an opinion or even look to others for inspiration.

3) Create Something

The power to create is one of the greatest gifts granted to us as human beings. We can create life, art, food, technology and so on. The possibilities are infinite! Creation is the nature of the universe, which is ever creating as we speak.

To Create means: To cause to come into being; or To give life to something.

As a music producer, creating music has been one of the most beneficial, therapeutic ways for me to naturally feel good. Its like planting a seed and watching it grow. In my case, sharing music and receiving positive feedback from listeners across the globe. You don’t have to necessarily rely on what others think of your creation, just realize that your ability to create is enough of a blessing on its own.

But don’t take my word for it, go out and create something right now and see how you feel afterwards. It could be a poem, a song, a drawing, a video, a healthy meal, a goal, a to-do list, or whatever you feel most inspired to do. Remember, the possbilities are infinite!

4) Listen to an Uplifting Song

Music, as most of you may know it, is one of the most powerful forms of energy capable of changing our current state in an instant. In this day and age, we’ve been blessed with an abundance of different types of music to choose from. One thing to note is that our bodies are made up of about 70% water and what does that have to do with music? Well, music is made up of various forms of vibration, which carries the ability to penetrate deep within our being, sending ripples throughout the body and senses. That’s why we feel good when hearing a piece of music that resonates with us. I personally like listening to relaxing meditation music (I recommend Jonathan Goldman) because it calms me down and helps me relax. There is no wrong choice for choosing a song, just as long as it resonates with you…literally.

“Music is a very subtle meditation. The seven notes of music are concerned with the seven chakras of the body and each chakra has its own note.” -Osho

5) Read an Inspirational Quote

This is one of the easiest ways to change your state from negative to positive. If you’re reading this, then you must have access to the internet, which contains thousands of quotes from some of the most inspirational people on the planet. Quotes have the power to inspire us and gain insight from those who have impacted the world in some shape or form. Here are a few quotes that may get you going:

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” -Michael Jordan

“In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.” -Tony Robbins

“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” -Albert Einstein

Conclusion

There are an infinite amount of ways to feel good but I hope this short list has at least given you an idea of what’s possible. If you have any unique or different ways that help you to feel good, please share in the comment section below.

Welcome to Conscious Life Activation

“The moment you become conscious, all unconscious actions disappear from your life. Your life starts moving in a new dimension. Your each act comes out of inner clarity; your each response is virtuous, is virtue.” -Osho

For many years of my recent life, I have been deeply drawn to the field of self-development, including: spirituality, health/fitness, productivity/success, and emotional well-being. I have been constantly seeking ways to improve my self in each of these areas and throughout my  journey, have become inspired by many influential life teachers such as Osho, Eckhart Tolle, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss, and Steve Pavlina, to name a few.

The purpose of Conscious Life Activation is to provide a fresh, powerful, innovative collection of knowledge & insight by inspiring conscious, practical, effective new ways of living.

Ultimately, I believe that we all have the choice to either live consciously (in awareness) or unconsciously (in unawareness), and that our true quality of life is a close reflection of our quality of awareness. I’d like to personally say thank you and welcome to Conscious Life Activation…
